Want to get back into singing? The Festival Chorus

Did you love singing at school? Are you under 25? Come and join our well established choir and get back to doing what you love!

It is well reported that singing has lots of health benefits and is on a par with Yoga for relaxation. You can enjoy rehearsing every Monday night in preparation for a concert at the end of 10 weeks. Our accomplished conductor and choral coach, Andrea Brown, will help you get the most out of your voice. You will be inspired by our professional soloists and orchestra and feel a sense of massive achievement at the end of the concert. We also arrange social events, including a well attended post concert party to which you and your guests are welcome. Our repertoire is predominantly classical but we regularly commission new works and have enjoyed singing works by forgotten composers as well as the choral greats.

We are looking for new members in all voice parts and  are offering a special deal to under 25’s for this term’s membership of £50. That includes all rehearsals , extra help, all the music and 2 concert tickets for you to give your friends or family.

This term we will be singing Tippet’s A Child of our Time and Haydn’s Nelson Mass.

Rehearsals start on Monday the 2nd September for a November the 30th Concert. Normal Monday rehearsals take place at Broomwood Hall Kyrle Road SW11. Please do come early on the first evening and register for the term on the web site prior to attending.
